Your site will be based upon a Content Management System (CMS). It will be very easy for you (and those you designate) to edit and add content to the site.
While there are many huge hosting providers operating on very small margins, we are different. We are a full service provider. We are small enough that we can provide personalized support and assistance to every new customer. We will personally help you get your site up and running to your complete satisfaction.
Our hosting service will work well for businesses and individuals. It is also very useful for all types of organizations, such as churches, sports teams, and civic or scouting groups.
We will make sure that your site is shows up in all major search engines (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.).
The Your Website package will provide you with a working website, built to your specifications, based on a CMS. Based on your requirements, the CMS will be Joomla, Drupal, or WordPress. What this means is: It will be very easy for non-technical folks to add and modify the site content. There is no requirement for any knowledge of HTML, PHP, and the rest of the underlying technology.

We can manage your hosting environment
The website hosting is on a complete Linux-based Apache server environment. We can manage all aspects of the hosting environment for you. (If you are technically inclined, you may manage the hosting environment yourself.) This includes installing products and add-ons, managing email addresses, managing FTP clients, etc.
We will automatically backup your system (all HTML files and databases) weekly to an offsite server. By logging on with your client ID (to this website), you will be able to view and download to your site the latest backup. The backups can be used to port your entire site to any standard web hosting provider.
We provide you with a growth path
As your web presence grows, we provide you with many options for your site to mature & expand.
Initially, your site will be a subdomain of waldoweb.com (e.g., mywebsite.waldoweb.com). This is free and requires no DNS (part of the internet infrastructure) updating. You may elect to purchase your own domain name (e.g., mywebsite.com) and make that the URL address of the site. Or you may already own a domain name you wish to transfer over to your new account.
With our personalized development services, we can add all sorts of capabilities to your site. As part of our web design & development (setup), we will install any of the available products, at your direction. As a valued customer, you will receive up to 2 housr of free development services per quarter.
At any time you may upgrade your account to our Monster Web Hosting package. In the unlikely event that you need even more capacity, such as a dedicated server, the weekly backups that we provide can be used to move your site to most any other hosting service.
How to get started
Submit the form to tell us your requirements. On this form you will convey information like the following:
- Describe your business.
- Describe your organization.
- Describe your products and/or services.
- What are your objectives & expectations of a website?
- Do you have preferences for background color/images, text color & style, etc?
- Do you have any published material or artwork for the site? (logos, brochures, menus, etc.).
We will design & develop a website just for you. All you have to do is review & approve it.
Your Own Domain Name
Initially, your website will be a subdomain of waldoweb.com. If you desire you own domain name, you may purchase a personalized one through us. These names aren't owned, but are leased annually through an official Domain Name Registrar. As a service, we will register a domain name for you at our cost. Ongoing Site Maintenance
You maintain the website content with the easy-to-use CMS administrator interface (Joomla, Drupal, or WordPress).
The Your Website package includes up to 2 hours of free consulting/maintenance per quarter. Additional development services are available at an hourly rate.
